I’m Engr. Emeka Okafor, the engineer behind Packetfield Networks — an IT network engineering and digital transformation practice based in Lagos, Nigeria, serving institutions whose systems simply have to work.
A decade of keeping critical systems online.
My work started in 2015 administering networks and websites for schools — small teams, tight budgets, and users who noticed every minute of downtime. That environment taught me the habit I still carry: design for the worst day, not the demo day.
Since 2019 I have led network operations for a university community of more than 30,000 students and 2,000 staff: campus-wide fibre distribution, a Microsoft 365 learning environment, secure computer-based testing centres, and the day-to-day discipline of monitoring, patching and support.
Packetfield Networks is how I bring that experience to a wider circle — institutions, businesses and project teams that need infrastructure designed properly, documented clearly and supported honestly.
